Brighton Family Garden
The Brief & Solution
This small Brighton garden went from a totally forgotten plot of astroturf to the absolute favourite spot for family and friends. Before we stepped in, it had zero color, no real layout, and not much reason to actually go out there. We wanted to turn it into a fun, inviting little setup that could handle real life with a young family while still feeling like a mini-escape. With a smart layout and plenty of love, we incorporated charm, practical zones, and that all-important sense of flow, proving you don't need a huge garden to make a massive impact.
We used curved elements to tie the space together: composite deck, limestone stepping stones, a circular lawn and a sunken trampoline for the kids. The planting was key in making this garden feel warm and cohesive; the creeping sedum between the stepping stones was a real favourite for these clients.
